The computational fluid dynamic modeling of downwash flow field for a six-rotor UAV

摘要: The downwash flow field of the multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), formed by propellers during operation, has a significant influence on the deposition, drift and distribution of droplets as well as the spray width of the UAV for plant protection. To study the general characteristics of the distribution of the downwash airflow and simulate the static wind field of multi-rotor UAVs in hovering state, a 3D full-size physical model of JF01-10 six-rotor plant protection UAV was constructed using SolidWorks. The entire flow field surrounding the UAV and the rotation flow fields around the six rotors were established in UG software. The physical model and flow fields were meshed using unstructured tetrahedral elements in ANSYS software. Finally, the downwash flow field of UAV was simulated. With an increased hovering height, the ground effect was reduced and the minimum current velocity increased initially and then decreased. In addition, the spatial proportion of the turbulence occupied decreased. Furthermore, the appropriate operational hovering height for the JF01-10 is considered to be 3 m. These results can be applied to six-rotor plant protection UAVs employed in pesticide spraying and spray width detection.

Numerical study of internal flow field and flow passage improvement of an inlet particle separator

摘要: By performing gas flow field numerical simulations for several inlet Reynolds numbers (from 2 × 10 to 9 × 10 ) and byflow ratios (from 10% to 20%), the present study has proposed to improve the flow passage of an inlet particle separator. An adjacent objective of the study is to lower pressure losses of the inlet particle separator (IPS). No particle has been included in the gas flow for a -epsilon turbulence model. The velocity distribution in different sections and the pressure coefficient along the duct have been analyzed, which indicates that there exist important low-velocity regions and vortices in the separation area. Therefore, the profile of streamlines along the original passage has been considered. This profile illustrated a vacuum region in the same area. All investigations suggest that the separation area is the most critical one for fulfilling the objective on pressure losses limitation. Then the flow passage improvement method has focused on the separation area. An improved shape has been designed in order to suit smoothly to the streamlines in this region. Similar numerical studies as those for the original shape have been conducted on this improved shape, confirming some considerable enhancements compared with the original shape. The significant vortices which appear in the original shape reduce in amount and size. Besides, pressure losses are greatly decreased in both outlets (up to 30% for high Reynolds number) and the flow is uniform at the main outlet. Subsequent engineering surveys could rely on expressions obtained for in both outlets which extend the pressure losses for a wide range of inlet Reynolds numbers. As a result, the numerical calculations demonstrate that the flow passage improvement method applied in this study has succeeded in designing a shape which enhances the flow behavior.

Investigation into the influence of diffuser stagger angles on the flow field and performance of a centrifugal

摘要: The performance graphs of a centrifugal compressor under different diffuser stagger angles were measured, and the influence of different stagger angles of vanes on the stage performance as well as flow field was investigated numerically. The results show that the performance graph shifts when the diffuser stagger angle is altered; the influence of different stagger angles of vanes on the flow field inside the centrifugal compressor is great. Large scale vortices appear on the diffuser vane under larger incidence. An optimal diffuser stagger angle should exist at a specified flow rate to make the characteristic of the flow optimized. The incidence corresponding to the highest efficiency is not 0º at the design condition.

Numerical simulation of air flow field in high-pressure fan with splitter blades

摘要: For a deeper understanding of the flow characteristics in the high-pressure centrifugal blower of a fan of Model 9-26 with splitter blades, a three dimensional (3-D) numerical simulation of air flows in the fan was conducted with FLUENT software. The standard - turbulent model and unstructured grids were used. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) results showed that the performance of a fan could be improved by adding the splitter blades in the channel among the leaf blades. Under operational conditions, with the presence of splitter blades, the air flow rate of the fan increased about 5% and the total pressure at the outlet of the fan increased about 10% on average. It was also found that the length of the splitter blades affected the air flow and pressure drop. There is an optimal value for the length. The simulation results provide helpful information for improving the fan performance.

广域电磁法和拟流场法精细探测技术——以井工一矿水害探测为例 Article

摘要:

井工一矿存在严重的老空区和水害。以往的单一勘探方法,如地震法、直流电法、音频大地电磁法、可控源音频大地电磁法、瞬变电磁法等,均未能探明老采空区范围和水害赋存情况。为了解决这个难题,联合采用广域电磁法和井- 地拟流场法的三位一体立体式探测技术,并利用三维反演电阻率资料精准获取富水区域和采空区的位置,确定了不同层位水的连通性,为井工一矿的安全生产提供了可靠的技术保障。结果合理、成效显著,释放了近4 km2 的可采面积。

Analytical solutions of three-dimensional contaminant transport in uniform flow field in porous media

摘要: The purpose of this study is to present a library of analytical solutions for the three-dimensional contaminant transport in uniform flow field in porous media with the first-order decay, linear sorption, and zero-order production. The library is constructed using Green's function method (GFM) in combination with available solutions. The library covers a wide range of solutions for various conditions. The aquifer can be vertically finite, semi-infinitive or infinitive, and laterally semi-infinitive or infinitive. The geometry of the sources can be of point, line, plane or volumetric body; and the source release can be continuous, instantaneous, or by following a given function over time. Dimensionless forms of the solutions are also proposed. A computer code FlowCAS is developed to calculate the solutions. Calculated results demonstrate the correctness of the presented solutions. The library is widely applicable to solve contaminant transport problems of one- or multiple- dimensions in uniform flow fields.

基于非关联流动法则的滑移线场及上限法研究

摘要:

当前岩土材料的滑移线场理论及上限法中都广泛采用经典塑性理论中的关联流动法则,由此得出应力特征线与速度滑移线一致的结论。而试验得知,岩土材料并不服从关联流动法则,因而应力特征线与速度滑移线不可能重合。文章分析了基于关联流动法则的滑移线场及上限法中存在的问题,根据广义塑性理论推导了基于非关联流动法则的滑移线场及上限法,消除了现行滑移线场理论及上限法理论中的种种矛盾。

Method of internal 3D flow field numerical simulation for hydrodynamic torque converter

摘要: To enhance the performance of a hydrodynamic torque converter and thoroughly understand the trait of inside flow, a numerical simulation method of internal 3D flow for the three-element centrifugal hydrodynamic torque converter was systematically researched and expatiated in this paper. First, the internal flow field of each impeller was calculated. The curves that illustrate the relationships between the pressure differences of the inlet and outlet versus flux were drawn. Second, the concurrent working point of each impeller was approximately estimated. Finally, a calculation was performed considering the influence on each impeller. The flow field of a working point was solved by multiple calculations and the actual working condition was gradually determined. The pressure and velocity distributions of the flow field were proposed. The performance parameters of the hydrodynamic torque converter were predicted. The calculation method, and the proposed pressure and velocity distribution of the flow field, have practical significance for the design and improvement of a hydrodynamic torque converter.

风流脉动下采空区流场数值模拟与实验研究

针对矿井内风流脉动的特性,基于矿井通风理论、流体力学理论、空气动力学 理论、传热传质学理论、多孔介质渗流理论,建立了矿井风流脉动下采空区流场的计算模型;通 过数值模拟,研究了脉动风流作用下采空区流场的分布特点,并通过实验对其进行了测试和 验证。结果表明所建立的采空区非稳定流场的数学模型可用于研究采空区流场分布状态,并 为采空区火灾防治提供有效的手段。

Treatability aspects of urban stormwater stressors

摘要: Pollution from diffuse sources (pollution from contaminants picked up and carried into surface waters by stormwater runoff) has been identified as a significant source of water quality problems in the U.S. scientists and engineers continue to seek solutions that will allow them to optimize existing technologies and develop new ones that will provide the best possible protection to people, wildlife, and the environment. This paper addresses the various pollutants or stressors in urban stormwater, including flow (shear force), pathogens, suspended solids/sediment, toxicants (organic and metals), nutrients, oxygen demanding substances, and coarse solids. A broad overview of the pollutants removed and the removal mechanisms by and of conventional best management practices (BMPs) is also presented. The principal treatment mechanisms of conventional wet ponds, vegetative swales/buffer strips, and wetlands are sedimentation and filtration. These mechanisms have the capability to remove significant amounts of suspended solids or particulate matter and are a vital component of strategies to reduce pollutant loads to receiving waters. In addition, because most of the nation’s receiving water violations are caused by pathogen indicator bacteria, it is of utmost importance that research efforts address this problem. Further research is also needed on the treatment of emerging contaminants in BMPs and on the costs and affects of maintenance and maintenance schedules on the long-term performance of BMPs.

圆形重力式网箱流场效应的试验研究

摘要:

为探索圆形重力式网箱在动态流场中的水动力学特性,同时获得网箱系统内部与周围流场分布及流速变化规律,设计了4 种不同网目形状和不同网目大小的网箱模型(C1、C2、C3、C4),选取4 种不同水流流速(0.068 m/s、0.105 m/s、0.143 m/s、0.182 m/s),分别采用声学多普勒流速仪(ADV)和粒子图像测速(PIV)技术对网箱系统内外的流速及流场变化进行测定。结果表明,ADV试验与PIV技术测量结果基本一致;来流速度不同时,单个网箱范围内的水流衰减程度差异不大;来流速度相同时,小网目网箱的减流效果优于大网目网箱;网目大小相同时,菱形网目网箱减流效果优于方形网目网箱;群组网箱减流效果明显,且随着水流通过网箱数目的增加,网箱内与网箱后的流速降低明显,其中第2 个网箱中心的流速衰减率已经达到了67.6 %,第4 个网箱中心的流速衰减率为88.2 %,网箱后的流速衰减率为72.1 %。研究结果可为养殖生产实践中网箱类型的选择提供理论参考。

Modeling the gas flow in a cyclone separator at different temperature and pressure

摘要: The gas flow field in a cyclone separator, operated within a temperature range of 293 K – 1373 K and a pressure range of 0.1 – 6.5 MPa, has been simulated using a modified Reynolds-stress model (RSM) on commercial software platform FLUENT 6.1. The computational results show that the temperature and pressure significantly influence the gas velocity vectors, especially on their tangential component, in the cyclone. The tangential velocity decreases with an increase in temperature and increases with an increase in pressure. This tendency of the decrease or increase, however, reduces gradually when the temperature is above 1000 K or the pressure goes beyond 1.0 MPa. The temperature and pressure have a relatively weak influence on the axial velocity profiles. The outer downward flow rate increases with a temperature increase, whereas it decreases with a pressure increase. The centripetal radial velocity is strong in the region of 0 – 0.25 below the vortex finder entrance, which is named as a short-cut flow zone in this study. Based on the simulation results, a set of correlations was developed to calculate the combined effects of temperature and pressure on the tangential velocity, the downward flow rate in the cyclone and the centripetal radial velocity in the short-cut flow region underneath the vortex finder.

高海拔冻土区路基周边近地表流场特征及其工程意义

摘要:

块碎石、通风管和热管等主动冷却措施广泛应用于冻土区工程建设,通过强化冷季与外界空气的换热过程降低下伏多年冻土的温度,进而确保气候变暖背景下工程构筑物的长期稳定性。对于气冷类主动冷却措施而言,对流换热过程至关重要,因此掌握构筑物周边流场特征具有重要的意义。结合青藏高原北麓河高等级公路试验示范工程,沿垂直于路基走向的横剖面开展了路基周边近地表流场的长期定位观测。基于6 个观测塔完整的一年观测数据,研究了路基两侧60 m范围内地面以上0.5 m、1.5 m、3.0 m和4.5 m高度上风速、风向的空间分布特征及季节变化规律。结果表明,路基的存在对近地表流场有显著的影响,在背风侧的影响距离可达10 倍路基高度。路基周边近地表风速沿高度的分布可用综合幂次律描述,幂次值为0.14~0.4;远离路基位置幂次值年均水平为0.19,与以往研究中常用值存在差异。讨论了近地表风场的空间分布和季节变化对包括块石、通风管等气冷路基结构工作机制和长期效果的影响,认为低估近地表风场速度剖面的幂次值、忽略风向的季节变化可能导致气冷类主动冷却降温措施设计的不足。现场测试结果可为高原冻土区工程建设提供有益参考。

科学技术的不断发展,加速了人们对海洋油气勘探向更深的领域迈进。为了实时监测油井井流的变化,以便更好地优化对油藏的开发,水下多相流量计得到了越来越多的应用。概述了目前常见的水下多相流量计的基本测量原理,研究了多相流量计在深水油气田开发应用的影响因素,包括量程、安装位置、通讯结构等,给出了各种不同方案的可能性,对多相流量计在深水油气田开发工程中的应用具有一定的指导意义。
